Nestled in the serene landscapes of New Zealand's Hawkes Bay Region, this home underwent an extensive transformation, yet one space remained untouched—the Guest Ensuite Bathroom. Tasked with breathing new life into this area, our mission was to blend our design seamlessly with the existing renovations, ensuring a cohesive transition between the old and the new.

 

Mindful of our client's requirements and budgetary constraints, we embarked on creating a layout that would optimize the available space while maintaining a harmonious flow between the bedroom and bathroom. A pivotal decision in our design strategy was the relocation of the bathroom door, a move aimed at enhancing spatial efficiency. However, this adjustment demanded a thorough examination of its impact on the bedroom's layout.

 

Navigating through the challenges presented by the hallway's configuration was paramount. An outdated built-in cabinet occupied one end, while essential electrical points were positioned at the other. Through close collaboration with the Refresh team and the homeowners, we explored various layout options, ultimately deciding to relocate the bathroom door to the far end of the hallway. This solution not only preserved the existing electrical infrastructure but also facilitated the removal of an antiquated storage cupboard, liberating valuable floor space and enhancing the room's visual appeal.

 

Equipped with a meticulously crafted design that was both practical and aesthetically pleasing, the selection of appropriately sized fixtures and finishes became a confident endeavor. Supported by Refresh Hawkes Bay's network of trusted local suppliers, the homeowners made inspired choices that elevated the project to its fullest potential.

 

The outcome? A rejuvenated Guest Ensuite Bathroom seamlessly integrated into the home's inherent charm, offering a blend of modern comfort and functional elegance.
