Situated in Ngaio, this charming home is nestled in a scenic valley tucked away from the road. While the location offers privacy, there were some challenges with natural lighting. Occasionally, when the sun hides behind the surrounding landscape, the room can feel a little dim so maintaining the existing windows and doors were a must while finding cost effective ways to brighten the space.

Our team was tasked with not only renovating the kitchen and dining area but also incorporating a laundry area seamlessly into the overall design. To achieve this, we carefully planned the layout to ensure that the cabinetry design could accommodate the laundry while maintaining a cohesive and aesthetically pleasing look. Additionally, we successfully relocated the kitchen sink and cooktop to optimize functionality and convenience. The installation of a range hood was also a priority, and we were able to accomplish this without the need to shift any existing windows or doors. While collaborating with Mark and his Team at Refresh , we presented three different layout options to the homeowner allowing us to provide a comprehensive range of choices and cater to the homeowner's preferences and needs. This approach not only showcased our attention to detail and commitment to customer satisfaction but also ensured that the homeowner had a variety of options to consider before making a final decision.

I am absolutely in love with the simplicity of this space. The clean lines and minimalist design create a sense of elegance and modernity. This renovation has been executed so beautifully, and Refresh Renovations Porirua has once again delivered an outstanding result.
